Hotel Chocolat Review

|by | Reviews

I love chocolates – but then who doesn’t? They’re delicious and oh so yummy – I just wished they didn’t go straight to my hips and stick like super glue!

The other day Hotel Chocolat sent us some rather tasty Christmas Chocolates to try.

We were sent the Mingles and Jingles bag which contains 35 individually wrapped chocolates inside a cloth drawstring bag. Inside you will find a mix of Smooth Milk Chocolate Penguins,  Creamy, Rich, Caramel chocolate Angels, and Smooth and Creamy White Chocolate bells with a hint of vanilla.

And my gosh are they delicious!

All the chocolates just melt in your mouth and taste divine. I loved that the Caramel Angels were not gooey caramel – yet a subtle taste of caramel throughout the solid milk chocolate, which means that no little fingers get covered in the sticky sweetness.

These chocolates are great for all the family to share – and it’s great to just put your hand in and see what you get! You won’t be disappointed with any of the chocolates.

The bag is really great quality and can be re-used. I’m sure that one of the girls will nab it from me at some point to home their collection of small things! That’s if they can find where I’ve hidden it – mwahahaha!

The Mingles and Jingles bag is £21 and weighs 380g / 13.4oz. They are suitable for vegetarians and alcohol free, so perfect for kiddies! They do contain milk, soya and may contain traces of tree nuts and peanuts.

Hotel Chocolat have a strong ingredients philosophy to only use wholesome, real ingredients. Their concept is to use more cocoa, less sugar.

Hotel Chocolat offer a great range of festive chocolates - as well as plenty for any occasion – and offer a gift service too! Why not check out their awesome ranges on their website - HotelChocolat.com
